Walking past an ancient circle of rocks

Walking past an ancient circle of rocks in a grassy paddock, we wonder its significance, its origin, why it’s still here. We could simply walk by and not notice a thing and we would if we were driving by but walking promotes pondering. Walking enables the pace of thoughts to sift through the landscape, to see the landscape then see through it to ancient times. Pagan rituals? Bloody times of old? Energy in the land? We’re full of stories, creative thinking gone wild. Walking promotes creativity, jiggles our imaginations and brings smiles, laughter and wonderings. The wonders of walking.
