Walking with clouds

Walking for several days there’s often changes of weather. Blue sky and blue water are now grey. Cloud, or is it rain, beyond the foreground hills over the sea? If it’s rain, is it coming towards us? Online weather forecasts are rarely from our exact location, rarely synchronous timing with our walking pace. Frequently unexpected despite planning though we’re prepared for rain, hail or shine in any order on our pack walk of the southern circuit in Wilsons Prom. The direction we intend walking is towards a forest then up over a hill so we’ll see the weather as we walk, not a moment earlier. So right now, let’s enjoy the view.

Shades of grey, brown and beige, a high tide line marked on rounded rocks. Wisps of white on one tiny wave. A gentle breeze, cool but not increasing ready for a storm. So much to see, feel, smell, enjoy.
